"Black Eye Friday" hits Georgia Walmarts

Black Friday turned violent in many places across the US, and some stores in Georgia were no exception.

One shopper at a Walmart near Atlanta took video of workers who got caught in a crush of shoppers trying to get their hands on a tablet computer. The workers were wheeling out a pallet loaded with tablets, according to the person who captured the footage.

The customers swarmed the tablets in spite of employees instructing them to wait.

Similar frenzies have been reported at other Walmart stores, but the CEO of Walmart still says things have calmed down from previous years because of the one hour guarantee that gives shoppers a better chance to get the deal they are after.
