Auburn Police had their hands full this past weekend arresting six people in connection to three separate robberies.

On Saturday, Nov. 30, Ambriah Hunter, 19, of Auburn was arrested and charged with Theft of Property Second Degree. A woman said her purse was stolen by two individuals while she was in a restaurant in the 100 Block of E. Magnolia Ave. The purse contained a wallet, credit cards, and cash.

Hunter and a 17-year-old were both taken into a custody for the crime. The juvenile was not charged and was later released.

Then on Sunday, Dec. 1, Jarelle Gray, 21, of Auburn was arrested and charged with Robbery First Degree. A man said he was robbed by two individuals at 1:30 a.m. that day in the 100 Block of Wright St. They took his wallet, credit card, and cell phone.

Additional arrests are pending for this crime in addition to Gray.

Also that day, three juveniles ages 15 to 16 were arrested for one count each of Burglary Third Degree, and two counts each of Theft of Property Second Degree charges. The victims said an unknown individual entered their residence and stole various electronics valued at over $1,600.

The teenagers were later arrested when someone reported suspicious individuals in the area.
