Auburn Tigers win SEC Championship

ATLANTA, GA. (WSFA) -

In the highest scoring game in SEC Championship history, the Auburn Tigers beat the Missouri Tigers 59-42 Saturday in Atlanta.

It was a record-breaking game for Auburn. The Tigers set the SEC Championship Game Record for points scored and total yards. The 677 yards of total offense also set a school record against SEC opponents and was the fourth most in school history.

Auburn's Tre Mason, the MVP of the game, rushed for an SEC title game record 304 yards on 46 carries. He had a total of four touchdowns.

For the fifth consecutive year, the SEC Championship goes to the Western Division Champion.

The Auburn Tigers are now 12-1.
