ELMORE CO., AL (WSFA) -

Elmore County investigators are once again trying to get a lead in a cold case they've been working since 2009. But they're not looking for a killer -- they're trying to identify a victim.

Authorities have released a composite of the man they're trying to identify.

His remains were found in 2009 in the woods off Possum Trot Road. All police know is that he lived in a lean-to in the woods but had no identification. Police have followed several leads but so far haven't been able to identify him.

If you can help, call Crime Stoppers at 215-STOP.
