Graduation rates up for Muscogee County

This year's graduation rates for Muscogee County are in, and it's great news for the district.

The district's rates were higher than the state rate, and three area high schools showed significant improvement. 

The overall rate for Muscogee County increased by 5.3 percent, bringing it up to 72.8; the state's graduation rate is 71.5.

Meantime, three schools showed significant improvement. Kendrick High School saw a 12.9 percent jump, Hardaway High School saw an 11.5 percent increase and Jordan High School saw a 10.4 percent increase.
