MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A popular bedtime story has now been transformed into a musical and it's coming to a stage near you!

Goodnight Moon, the story by Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd, has been transformed into a full-length musical filled with fun and adventure, fit for the whole family.

The musical adaptation of the book follows the nighttime adventures of Bunny as he sings and dances through nursery rhyme scenes of dancing bears, the Cat and the Fiddle and the Cow Jumping over the Moon. This two-act musical is designed to keep preschool aged children engaged and entertained.

The musical will run at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival's intimate Octagon stage from January 11th to February 1st. Tickets may be purchased by calling 1-800-841-4273, visiting online at www.asf.net or at the ASF box office. Prices are $30 for adults and $20 for children (16 and under). ASF member prices are $24 for adults and $14 for children
