On Dec. 16, a student at Spencer High School was charged for possessing marijuana with intent to distribute.
The 14-year-old was carrying eight small, clear plastic bags inside his backpack that each contained 0.5 grams of marijuana. The total street value of the drugs is $49.
Students informed the principal that the boy was selling "weed" at school.
The juvenile was charged and taken to the Public Safety Building.
This case is under investigation.
