COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Children and terminally ill patients at hospitals around the Fountain City received a special gift Friday.
Columbus area law enforcement stopped by this morning to give patients stuffed animals and small gifts.
There were more than 1,100 gifts total. It's all a part of CSU's Cougars for Causes Holiday Drive.
We spoke to a CSU police officer who gave a helping hand.
"Being able to put a smile on somebody else's face around the holidays is the best service that I can get back," said Sgt. Brett Stanelle.
This marks the second year for Cougars for Causes Holiday Drive.
