Crews return to Madison Co. home as fire rekindles

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A Madison County house caught fire for the second time Sunday, some 15 hours after the initial blaze.

Firefighters were called back to a house on the 2500 block of Old Monrovia Road around 6 p.m.

The structure originally caught fire around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Crews from Toney, Monrovia and Harvest responded to the original call. Jeff Road and Bishop Road had to be closed as crews worked to put the fire out.
