Auburn man arrested on felony charges in robbery case

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

Harry O. Drake, 26, of Auburn was arrested on a felony warrant charging him with Receiving Stolen Property Second Degree.

According to Auburn police, a victim told officers that someone broke into their residence on the 300 block of N. Ross St. sometime between Dec. 19 and 26. The suspect(s) allegedly stole various electronic devices, firearms and coins valued at $4,600.

Drake developed as a suspect during investigation. Police located him, and discovered he was in possession of electronics and a firearm belonging to the victim. The value of the property recovered from Drake so far is $2,400.

Drake was transported to the Lee County Jail where his bond was set at $3,000.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
