Hopkinsville man arrested after 38 marijuana plants seized from home

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (WSMV) -

A man was arrested on drug charges in Christian County Thursday night.

Troopers were called to a home on Coal Creek Road on a drug complaint and say they found a three-room indoor marijuana grow operation inside a hidden part of the garage.

Kentucky police seized 38 marijuana plants, marijuana seeds, growing materials, five rifles and two handguns from the home.

The suspect, 42-year-old Anthony Pool of Hopkinsville, is a convicted felon and isn't allowed to carry firearms.

Pool faces five charges, including felony marijuana cultivation.
