Flu numbers up across the country

(WTVM) - The Center for Disease Control reports 25 states are reporting flu activity, up from ten last week.

Most of those reports were in the southeast.

The CDC says flu season won't peak until February, and half of Americans have not received a flu shot.

Experts say it's been a typical season but H1N1 has been the most common strain.

Six children have died from the flu since September. The CDC does not report on adult deaths because they're harder to track.
