HOLMES COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Holmes County man, who has been missing since Thursday, has been found safe.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert for 55-year-old John L. Jones of Lexington on Friday.

Jones had been missing since noon Thursday.

According to Holmes County Sheriff Willie March, Jones was found in Lake Village, AR. on Saturday morning.

Sheriff March said Jones is healthy and okay.

In a previous story, we reported that Jones suffered from Alzheimer's and Dementia.

Sheriff March said Jones got a hold of a family member's car keys and just started driving.
