The man accused of stabbing to death a former Muscogee County school superintendent 20 years ago is heading back to court. News Leader 9's Brittany Dionne spoke to Kareem Lane's defense attorney about the state's decision.

Students at one high school in Columbus had to deal with a lack of heat in classrooms on this very cold morning, with frozen pipes causing water in the boiler room to overflow. We'll tell you which school and if students can go back there tomorrow.

Domestic violence experts say they receive more calls during the holiday season than any other time. We'll sit on a local roundtable to see what's being done to help people.
