MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Crews searched a neighborhood multiple times following a City Watch Alert for a 7-week-old child. Memphis police officers searched for Aniston Walker for more than 13 hours Thursday.

She was last seen at 5604 Falling Bark Drive in Memphis, which is just outside of Bartlett. She has brown eyes and weighs about 10 pounds. The infant was last seen wearing a brown onesie with football emblems.

Police searched outside the baby's home and nearby woods with K-9 units.

Patrick Kimbrell was among the neighbors who received a knock from Memphis police Thursday afternoon as they searched for Aniston.

"Somebody had to take her, or [there is] some funny business going on. I don't know," said Kimbrell. "Need to find her, because it's too cold. [She needs] to be with the parents or whoever is taking care of her."

Police say the mother claimed she went to drop another child off at school when Anniston disappeared. She said she left the baby with another person. However, officials are receiving conflicting stories. Police questioned several family members.

Officers combed through construction dumpsters and smaller garbage bins. They even removed bags from the bins in an attempt to find any sign of the baby.

"When a baby ain't nothing but seven weeks, you could have took the baby with you ... Most mothers I know take the baby everywhere that they go," said neighbor Zyyeria Green.

A slew of police deputy vehicles showed up in front of the baby's home late Thursday night to sweep the neighborhood for the fourth time.

Baby items were hauled out of the house by crime scene technicians. Although police have yet to say a crime has actually been committed.

Anyone with information should call police at 901-545-2677.

According to the Shelby County Property Assessor's website, the owner of the home being searched is listed as a Andrea A. Walker.

Action News 5 searched the Shelby County jail records and found that a 33-year-old female listed as Andrean Walker was booked at 4:06 a.m. on Friday.

As of Friday morning, no mug shot or affidavit information was available.

Action News 5 will keep monitoring any updates in this case.
