COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

USAA continues to expand as they have now opened their nineteenth financial center in the Chattahoochee Valley area.

They say the new facility on Veterans Pkwy will better serve its members in our military community.

At an opening ceremony today, Jan. 10, USAA helped with banking and auto needs, held a video conference, and helped with mortgage applications and life insurance.

We spoke with Larry Rosenberger, Vice President on USAA Member Experience, on what this new location means for the area.

"It means for the military community that USAA, who knows that community better than anyone, founded by the military for the military, is here to serve the needs of our military, veterans and their families," says Rosenberger. If they're PCSing, if they're deploying, or moving towards retirement, we're here to meet those needs across banking, investments and insurance."

USAA serves anyone who has served honorably in the military, and their families.
