Local career fair held in downtown Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

SavannahHelpWanted.com hosted a local career fair Tuesday and had more than 1,700 jobs posted.

Several employers participated, like Cellular Sales, Vaden Automotive Group, Scale South, River Street Riverboat Company and Terminal Investment Corp.

Employers met with jobseekers at the Savannah Riverfront Marriot in downtown Savannah from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"It's a little frustrating and scary looking at the amount of people that are here looking for jobs in our area, but it's going ok," said jobseeker Angela Reed. "It's alright, good reviews with the folks who are actually looking for employees."
