Victim's scoliosis, arthritis pills stolen during break-in

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A burglar got away with a handful of prescription drugs after allegedly breaking into a house on Bethune Court on Jan. 11.

According to the police report, the suspect entered the home Saturday evening between 4:30 and 6 p.m. The thief took 60 methocarbamal pills, 60 nabumetone pills, and 19 Tylenol pills.

Methocarbamal is used as a muscle relaxant and nabumetone is used for arthritis. The victim suffers from scoliosis and other painful ailments.

No one was injured during the robbery and no damage was reported in the home. Police are still investigating this incident.
