TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

ABAC students are competing against each other to help the Red Cross replenish its blood supply.

Students who live in two residence halls are competing against each other to see which one can get the most people to donate blood. The students worked hard to get the word out.

"We're hoping to bring out lots of people and we publicized. We put posters out and the students have really been imaginative by saying welcome to the blood bath or something like that just to get people out," said Bernice Hughes.

Students in ABAC Place Building #2 won and will receive a pizza party. The school plans to hold another blood drive in March.
