RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

A Texas grand jury indicted the Richmond Outreach Center's Geronimo 'Pastor G' Aguilar Wednesday in connection with a second sexual assault case on a child.

The new indictment stems from several alleged incidents in the late 1990s in Fort Worth, Texas, involving a child known by the pseudonym April More.

The charges are separate from another case involving another victim, also in Fort Worth in 1996 and 1997. Aguilar is set to go to trial on both cases.

NBC12 has also learned Aguilar has followed through on an order to vacate the church property he once called home.

"We're glad he's gone, personally," said a neighbor who was too afraid to be identified. "You're always scared and stressed out. You can't walk out of your house."

The neighbor recalls alleged bodyguards in her community.

"You've got people sitting out across the street from the house with guns on their laps," said the concerned neighbor. "Watching the house."

According to the indictment, More was under the age of 14 when she had inappropriate sexual contact with Aguilar.

The eight new charges include two felony counts of aggravated sexual assault on a child under age 14, which could result in life in prison if Aguilar is convicted. He was also indicted on three counts of sexual assault of a child under 17 and three counts of indecency with a child.

"Parents won't let their children come up and ride around their bikes in the cul-de-sac," said the neighbor.

Each of the counts carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

"But the fact that he has been indicted says nothing about the quality of the case," said NBC12 legal analyst Steve Benjamin.  "And it certainly doesn't mean that he is necessarily guilty."

Aguilar remains free on bond and a trial date has not been set.
