MAX, a full-service financial institution, celebrated beginning construction of its new Auburn regional branch, and smarter banking products and services, with a groundbreaking at the site located at 336 N. Gay Street on Wednesday, January 15.

As the new East Alabama regional office, the MAX branch will be centrally located, feature lobby and drive-thru service, and is designed to serve members in Auburn, Opelika and surrounding Lee County communities.

The state-of-the art branch will feature the latest in modern design and technology.  A concierge will greet members and direct them to kiosks, staffed with professional and friendly MAX team members, the MAX Perks refreshment center, offering free coffee and bottled water, or the MAX business center. Each feature allows members a more personalized experience.

This is MAX's second location in Lee County.

#MAXgives Campaign

MAX continues its commitment to becoming a part of the Auburn community by launching a local giving initiative. Residents can nominate non-profit organizations that make a difference in the area on Facebook or Twitter, using the hashtag #MAXgives to give their favorite, local non-profit organizations the opportunity to win $25,000 donations from MAX.

Nominations continue through September 30, 2014. A second voting phase begins October 2014 where residents vote for one of five finalists to receive the highest donation.

Winners will be announced at the grand opening in January 2015.
