COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A popular store around the Chattahoochee Valley is now getting new management.

The previous owners of Peachtree Natural Foods from in Columbus area have sold the store to a company based in Utah. They are also making big changes to their nationally syndicated radio show.

Dan Liberatore, and his wife Dr. Jan McBarron, have owned Peachtree Natural Foods since the doors opened in 1991. Over the years, they grew into a chain of seven local stores.

Liberatore says, "It came time for us to turn a new page, and move on in our lives, and pursue other opportunities and other interests. And I wanted to say thank you to the people of Columbus for the support over the years."

The couple says the transition to the new owners, a company called Nutraceutical, will be seamless. All stores will remain open, and there will be no layoffs.

Liberatore says he will now turn his attention towards the Columbus Lions, and his wife will focus on her medical practice.
