COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - If you or a family member are uninsured and need a check-up, an event this weekend in Columbus may be just what the doctor ordered.
There's a free health clinic in town Saturday Jan. 25, and free health screenings will be provided for all those who attend.
The 2014 Columbus Health Expo will be held at the Columbus Trade Center, located at 801 Front Avenue. Registration starts at 8:45 a.m., and the event lasts from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We spoke with Carol Coakley with West Central Georgia Cancer Coalition and Hannah Coyle with Three Rivers Area Health Education Center on Friday about the expo.
There will be screenings for cholesterol, body fat, blood pressure, hearing and vision.
