COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Tickets to the March 15-16 Thunder in the Valley Air Show will be available for purchase beginning Monday, Feb. 3. Advance tickets are $10 per person, per day, and may be purchased online (with an additional $1.50 service fee) and at a variety of local retail locations.

"Thunder in the Valley Air Show is an extraordinary value," said Phaedra Childers, Event Coordinator. "Attendees will be surrounded by a world-class group of aviation acts and displays. The combination of affordability and up-close entertainment really makes this air show the best ticket in town."

Aerial acts include Franklin's Flying Circus (Dracula Demon-1 biplane and Wing-Tip Draggin' Comedy Act), Melissa Pemberton (aerobatic and wing suit performances), the Georgia State Patrol Aviation Division and the Silver Wings Parachute Demonstration Team.

On the ground, the Indy Boys Jet Powered School Bus and Jet Outhouse will roar down the runway, while the display area will feature everything from CAMO Group military vehicles to aircraft from the Hixson Flight Museum, Berlin Airlift Foundation and Tiger Flight Foundation, to hands-on activities with Archery Connection and a Kids Carnival.

Each day also features can't-miss opening and closing acts: The U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence Band and The Immortals: The Epic Battle of Good vs. Evil, a dazzling grand finale featuring Franklin, Pemberton and the Indy Boys' Paul Stender.
