MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A Montgomery student got the surprise of a lifetime at school Tuesday. Master Sgt. Alesha Moore surprised her son Aarin at Dalraida Elementary School.

Moore has been gone for four months and will only be home for a short time before being deployed again.

Mother and son are both looking forward to making the making the most of their time together.

"I missed getting him up for school, cooking breakfast. I missed everything about being a mother. I was ready to get back to them," Moore said.

Moore and her husband both serve in the U.S. Air Force. They also have a 2-year-old daughter.
