Henrico man to appeal guilty verdict in police impersonation case

Posted: Updated:
HENRICO, VA (WWBT) -

A man found guilty of impersonating a police officer in Henrico says he will appeal the judge's decision.

A judge sentenced Joshua Terrell to 12 months with 11 months, 26 days suspended. He was pulled over in December because his car has flashing lights.

Terrell claims the lights are used to attract people to his driving school. The business' brand is on the side of the car.

The case starts all over again in circuit court in March.
