TROY, AL (WSFA) -

Commuters making their way down U.S. Hwy. 231 have some delays to deal with following a 4-vehicle crash just south of Troy.

Alabama State Troopers say there are two minor injuries as a result of the crash, but they can not give a cause of the crash at the moment because the investigation is ongoing.

The accidents occurred on Walnut Creek Bridge just south of Troy. While an official cause is not yet available, it's believed ice may have played a factor.

The Pike County Emergency Management Agency is warning drivers to slow down because some roads and bridges may be hazardous.

"Even though we are rising above freezing it will take some time to melt those icy patches," the agency said.

Commuters should expect some delays. WSFA 12 News will have more information as it becomes available.
