MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Authorities say they've found and arrested a man accused of robbing his own family members on February 5 while armed with a machete and a bowie knife.

Jeffery Milner was wanted by the Montgomery Police Department for Robbery 1st Degree and Theft of Property 2nd Degree after investigators say he robbed his brother of $170, stole his aunt's purse, then his brothers car and fled to Louisiana.

Authorities say the man's crimes didn't stop after he fled the state. They say he drove to an area near the French Settlement, Louisiana where he robbed his brother at his residence, then drove to his father's residence two miles away where he robbed him as well.

In total, family members say Milner took six handguns during the Louisiana robberies.

He was captured by agents of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force Monday evening.
