A Gila Bend woman became the first winner of the Arizona Lottery's Lucky Life Scratchers ticket.

Maria Gomez purchased a $1 ticket and won $500 a week for 20 years. Gomez said she didn't want to be interviewed.

Winners also have the option of a $338,000 lump sum option before taxes.

The Lucky Life Scratchers series includes the following four Scratchers tickets, ranging in price from $1 to $10:

  • $1 ticket: Top prize $500 a week for 20 years; top Second Chance prize $2,500
  • $2 ticket: Top prize $1,000 a week for 20 years; top Second Chance prize $10,000
  • $5 ticket: Top prize $2,500 a week for 20 years; top Second Chance prize $50,000
  • $10 ticket: Top prize $5,000 a week for 20 years; top Second Chance prize $100,000

In other Arizona Lottery news, the Powerball jackpot was raised to an estimated $284 million for Wednesday night's draw.
