Congratulations to the new Sweetheart and Junior Sweetheart 2014 winners!

Clarion DuBose is the Sweetheart 2014 and Klijah Lewis is the Junior Sweetheart 2014. Andriana Gregg won the talent section, and Deja Jones was talent runner up.

The girls were crowned with a tiara and awarded prizes and money at the Mother-Daughter Sweetheart Banquet Thursday night at the Garrard Center. Twenty-five girls competed in the contests. 

DuBose is in the 9th grade at St. Anne/Pacelli High School She is the daughter of Nancy and Roderick DuBose and the granddaughter of Era Patrick

Lewis is in the 5th grade at St. Mary's Elementary School. She is the daughter of Krystal Scott and Roderick Lewis.

Gregg is in the 6th grade at Double Churches Middle School. She is the daughter of Jekeyseia Hollis and Eric Greg. Her talent was singing "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot."

Jones is in the 6th grade at Rothschild Middle School and the daughter of Catina Jones and Walter Jones. Her talent was Singing "Blue Bayou" by Linda Ronstadt.

All four winners are members of the Baker Center.

The Citizens of Georgia Power and the Ambassadors of Georgia Power prepared the spaghetti dinner for the evening.

Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold!
