NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Davidson County man called police to report a burglary at his home, but he was the one who ended up being taken to jail.

Police say Andrew Weaseman called 911 late Monday night to report a home break-in, but when police showed up to the house on Lyle Lane, they say the home smelled like marijuana.

They searched the house, and instead of a robber, they reportedly found 85 pieces of THC candy, more than two dozen jars of THC peanut butter and sugar and about a dozen marijuana pipes.

Police say Weaseman admitted to smoking marijuana before calling 911.

He allegedly told police the drug paraphernalia was a gift.

Weaseman was arrested and taken to jail early Tuesday morning.
