CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A fairly tranquil weather pattern settlesinto the Carolinas this week, so it might surprise you that we could see snowtwice around Charlotte over the next seven days, says WBTV Meteorologist EricThomas.

But in this case we're talking about a strayflurry, nothing resembling serious snowfall.

Thomas says a cooler pattern willreturn which is another reason why a flurry is possible again.

The first weak front passes by tonight, anda stray shower or wet flake could briefly appear again Wednesday morning.

A very similar situation could develop againfor Saturday morning.

Overall, it will be awhile before we see asteady diet of 60s and 70s again with this cool pattern returning.

We're forecasting afternoon readings in the50s with lows in the 20s for the remainder of thework week, a less than subtle reminder that Spring isn't here quiteyet.
