Police: Columbus man survives stab wound to chest, brother arrested

Columbus Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred around 11 p.m. last night, Feb. 25, in the 700 block of Hardegree Dr.

According to police, 32-year-old Victor Ellis was stabbed on the left side of his chest and taken to St. Francis hospital with non-life threatening injuries. At last check, he was in stable condition.

The victim's brother, 25-year-old Marcus Ellis, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Family Violence.

Police say the incident started as an argument between the two brothers.
