Kendrick High School burglarized

Columbus Police tell News Leader 9 that Kendrick High School was burglarized from 1:24 to 2:13 a.m. today, Feb. 26.

Witnesses say they saw two people dressed in dark clothing, wearing gloves and masks coming out of the school. The suspects appear to have entered through a south facing window, and then exited the building through the front door, according to police.

Muscogee County school security responded when the school alarm was tripped. They called Columbus police when they saw the suspects.  

Police say nothing appears to have been taken from the school during the burglary. Papers were scattered all over the floor. There was about $200.00 in property damage.

Authorities have surveillance footage of the incident. No arrests have been made at this time.
