Firefighters in Dubois County fought a house fire Friday morning on Hillham Road South about one quarter-mile south of State Road 56.

The home belonged to Clint and Trisha Eichmiller. Clint is a volunteer firefighter.

Crews from both Dubois and Orange Counties responded.

Clint's brother, Zach, who is also a volunteer firefighter, says a wood stove is likely the cause of the fire.

Everyone made it out safely and no one was hurt.

Clint and Trisha have two children and they lost nearly everything in the fire.

The St. John's Lutheran Church in Dubois County is collecting clothing for the family.

Anything you can donate can be dropped off there.
