Man facing charges following chase with Henrico Police

A routine traffic stop, leads to a high speed chase that stretched from Henrico to Richmond.

Henrico Police say around 7 p.m. Friday they tried to pull over Alexander Easter on Chamberlayne near Wilmer Avenue after noticing a tail light out on his vehicle was out.

They say when officers turned on sirens, the 36 year old suspect took off. We are told Easter bailed out of the car at the intersection of Dill Avenue and Front Street in North Richmond, but was caught a short time later with the assistance of Richmond Police.

Police say Easter is facing several charges including felony eluding police, driving on a suspended license, and possession of cocaine.
