SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The investigation of the fatal Wayne County trainwreck involving the crew and life of 27 year old crew member, Sarah Jones, continues; no word on whether the film crew of "Midnight Rider" had permission to film on the train tracks or if it was a tragic miscommunication that led to disaster.

With production suspended on the film about the life of rocker, Gregg Allman, the Savannah Film Office has informed WTOC while the decision could lead to costing the city 2 million dollars in revenue, Sarah's life and the lives affected are the number one concern.

"The movie would have employed 60 people for almost two months, so, replacing that income for them may be difficult. We are going to have a lot of other stuff coming, so we'll keep on keeping on", says Will Hammargren of the Savannah Film Office.

A candlelight vigil, held by SCAD and the Savannah Film Community will occur Sunday, March 2nd, at B&D Burgers on Congress Street in Savannah at 7 pm.

55,000 people have signed a petition to get a mention of Sarah Jones at the Academy Awards, but still no word from the Academy or host Ellen DeGeneres on the matter.

However, "Slates for Sarah" continues to remember the life of Jones with an abundance of photos honoring the lost crew member from the sets of movies and television shows all over the world.
