MARYSVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Two years after a deadly tornado outbreak, one of the small towns hit the hardest took the time to reflect before continuing to move forward.

Saturday residents of Marysville, Indiana gathered to rededicate the former Marysville Grade School which will now serve as the town's community center.

 Pictures of both the damage the storm caused and the efforts to rebuild were displayed during the ceremony.

Marysville resident Steve Schaftlein said, "This celebrates not just this building, but all the homes the hundreds of homes that were damaged and the families affected directly."

The rededication was possible thanks to donations from Mercury One, March2Recovery and help from volunteers.
