Georgia Governor Nathan Deal and his wife Sandra are pushing for all Georgia third graders to be on reading level when the school year comes to an end.

Gov. Deal and Sandra deal kicked off Read Across Georgia Month on Wednesday March 5 in support of the Governor's Grade Level Reading Initiative.

Mrs. Deal also read to students on Fort Benning a few months ago.
