Game times set for CSU at SE Regional

COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Columbus State Lady Cougars will begin their quest for NCAA Tournament glory on Friday at 8:30 p.m. ET in Hickory, N.C., as the NCAA released times for the upcoming national championship on Monday afternoon. 

Seeding for the NCAA Tournament was released Sunday night with Columbus State (21-7) earning the Southeast region's fifth seed. The Lady Cougars will square off against fourth-seeded North Georgia (22-6) for the third time this season. 

Columbus State is making its seventh NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and the first since the 2007 campaign. The Lady Cougars reached the 2000 and 2001 NCAA Tournament Final Four. 

The Southeast region will be hosted by top-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne and all games will be played in the Shuford Memorial Gymnasium. No. 6 Belmont Abbey and No. 3 Wingate will begin play on Friday at noon while No. 7 Limestone and No. 2 Clayton State will play at 2:30 p.m. Prior to the Lady Cougar game, No. 1 L-R and No. 8 Armstrong Atlantic State University will square off at 6:00 p.m. 

Should the Lady Cougars win, they will face the winner of No. 1 L-R and No. 8 Armstrong at the same venue on Saturday.
