They were there for the school's Career Day, which lasted from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. More than 500 students from grades Pre-K through fifth grade were there.
Elisabeth talked with the students about being a meteorologist and what it was like to be on the news.
The fifth graders were required to complete a career portfolio which involved them visiting each table and conducting a small interview. They asked Elisabeth and Greg questions about their jobs and what they thought the most rewarding part was.
The school also had "Career on Wheels," so Elisabeth brought one of the station's vans. There was also a fire truck, city bus, and other vehicles.
