FBI: AZ tribal jail escapee back in custody

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

An inmate who escaped from a western Arizona tribal jail has been taken into custody. 

Mickey Roy Anderson Sr. and two other inmates overpowered a guard Sunday, grabbed the cellblock keys and fled from the Colorado River Indian Tribes Jail in Parker.

Details of Anderson's arrest were not immediately available. The two other inmates were apprehended earlier.

Anderson, 25, was considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen in Blythe, CA.

He was being held on homicide charges in a Bureau of Indian Affairs investigation.

Anderson also has an outstanding federal arrest warrant for robbery within the CRIT Indian Reservation.
