GA Senate approves “Slowpoke Bill”

(WTVM) - Slow drivers beware - you could soon be pulled over if you fail to move to the right lane on Georgia highways.

The Georgia State Senate approved a bill this week that allows officers to fine drivers who drive too slowly in the left lane.

The so-called "Slowpoke Bill" requires drivers to get over when a vehicle is coming faster from behind, even if going the speed limit.

The House approved the measure last month.
