Suspect arrested in deadly Harrison Park shooting

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Birmingham police have arrested a suspect in a deadly shooting at Harrison Park on Sunday.

Vada Floyd, 24, is charged with capital murder in the death of Timothy Austin, 23. Police say Austin was shot to death in Harrison Park around 11 a.m. Sunday, March 9 while a church service was going on nearby.

Floyd is being held on no bond. He's in the process of being transferred from the Birmingham City Jail to the Jefferson County Jail.
