Sheriff LeRoy Upshaw with the Barbour County Sheriff's Office said the investigation was conducted and the arrest was made by his investigator Lieutenent David Morris. Campbell was transported to the Barbour County Jail and is being held under a $250,000 bond.

Sheriff Upshaw further stated that the child was abused by more than one person. Lt. Morris said the other suspect has left the state, but they have a good idea where he is hiding.

A third person is being investigated at this time, and an arrest will be forthcoming once that investigation is completed. Sheriff Upshaw said that the child had been allegedly raped multiple times by this suspect; therefore the investigation is taking longer.
