COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The Academy of Fine Arts will present "The Wizard of Oz," especially adapted for the students at the Academy, at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts on Saturday, May 17 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 18 at 2:30 p.m.

The story of Dorothy and her adventure down the yellow brick road is guaranteed to entertain your entire family.

The jazz section of the production will feature spectacular costumes and music as the dancers recreate highlights from jazz productions form the last 45 years. The performance is directed by Patty Taylor.

Tickets are available for $20 each at the box office one hour before each performance or by calling the office at (706) 561-8085 or visit their website
