COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The 2014 series of "LET'S TALK!...with the Mayor" meetings will begin at on Thursday, March 20 at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 6 p.m.

"Let's Talk!...with the Mayor" is a public forum held in conjunction with community partners. The purpose of the forum is to provide a current status of the city, and an opportunity for citizens to come together and discuss their concerns.

Mayor Teresa Tomlinson, City Manager Isaiah Hugley, Councilor Mimi Woodson, administrative officials, city department and public safety representatives will be in attendance. This meeting is open to the public, and will be filmed for later broadcast on Columbus Consolidated Government Television Network.

Meetings are scheduled to take place each quarter at locations around the city. The first quarter's forum will be held in coordination with Gethsemane Baptist Church and the 'Winterfield On The Move Against Drugs' organization.

Gethsemane Baptist Church is located at 242 Kendrick Ave. in Columbus.

The 2014 schedule for "LET'S TALK!...with the Mayor" is a follows:

Thursday, March 20, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 242 Kendrick Ave.

Thursday, June 19, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Salvation Army Worship & Community Center, 5201 Warm Springs Rd.

Thursday, Sept. 18, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Comer Gym, 107 41st St.

Thursday, Dec. 11, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Shirley Winston Gym, 5033 Steam Mill Rd.
