Rantankerous [ran-tank'uhr-us] (adjective) - A combination of rant [to speak in a wild or extravagant manner] and cantankerous [contentious, disagreeable]. The word is the only suitable description for the arguments between Brian "What We Learned" Tynes and George "Hot Reads" Jones.

(RNN) - People are always game for a day off, so why not add one more to the list of national holidays - Major League Opening Day.

The crusade to get Americans a free pass for the start of baseball season got some legitimacy with endorsements from Ozzie Smith and Anheuser-Busch and 100,000 White House petition signatures.

But is that bandwagon really worth jumping on, especially considering the Super Bowl probably makes more money than all Opening Day games combined?
