Jury recommends life in prison for Southern Union Shooter

After deliberating on whether or not Southern Union shooter Thomas May should face the death penalty, the jury has reached a recommendation.

In a 10 to 2 vote, the jury recommends that May face life in prison without parole.

The final decision will be announced at the sentencing hearing set for May 21, 2014, at 2 p.m.
