Driver involved in car accident recalls near-death experience

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A driver is speaking out after a near-death experience in Phenix City.

According to witnesses, Dontrell Hill and three others were injured after her vehicle flipped several times at about 2 a.m. Sunday morning. It happened on Old Opelika Rd. near Lance's Pub.

Hill says a driver hit her car, causing her to lose control of the vehicle.

All four passengers were ejected from the vehicle.

"We're blessed that nobody passed, and we're all okay, and I just want whomever did it to know that you injured us, and put a memory in our mind," Hill said. "I don't think we'll ever forget anytime we get in a car and you really hurt us."

Investigators have yet to release any further information, and this wreck remains under investigation.

The driver has been treated and released. One of the passengers is in satisfactory condition while another is listed in unsatisfactory condition.
